Well, how should I start? I started out in diaryland as a not-so-often diarist (Check out my diary), then later expanded to posting, or should I say, writing a story. Up till now I haven't completed the story yet, which is one of my New Year Resolutions... -gasp- Anyway, after getting most of my templates/layouts from other wonderful designers around diaryland, I developed a love for creating my own. I moved on to doing my own layouts, though I still look at those done by others, occasionally using some. (Can't help it, I love them!) But still, the product of my hard work is sweeter. In the end I got so inspired and made so many templates that I couldn't fit them all into my diary. Some I made for no reason at all, some don't suit my diary... So here I am. The name Miss Independent is derived from Kelly Clarkson's single of the same name and in short, M.I. Designs.

I'm from the little red dot of Singapore. I was born in a cusp, on 21st May, so I can be both a Gemini or a Taurus. I'm sort of tallish, no specs, don't plan to get any, no contacts either, too afraid of them. My eyesight is perfectly fine, thank you. Currently still a student in a girls' school. I can be a little crazy at times, I guess... Immature? Still a little girl at heart. -sticks out tongue- One more thing... I suppose I can't forget Mark and Snoopy.

I love music. Just recently I got an iPod, so I'm over the moon! I like most genres, usually listening to established artistes... Or at least those who have broken through to Asia! I like Westlife, Michelle Branch, alt-rock band Linkin Park, Pop Idol second runner up Darius, Eminem... Can you name me any more? Those are the main ones, really. Seems like I got most of the genres covered pretty well. Okay, besides music, I love web-design (there you go!), drawing (mostly anime-type), reading, chatting and hanging out with my friends, laughing at one of them-- Giraffe. Ewan McGregor. Elijah Wood. Orlando Bloom. A.M.I.3. --> John Stevens rocks!
